01. Technical Survey & Measurement
Before your windows are manufactured, one of our technicians visits your property to inspect each opening and take accurate measurements.
We check:
- Width and height of each opening
- Condition of the reveals and lintels
- Existing wall conditions
- Window opening system and configuration
- Sealing and finishing requirements
- Accessibility for installation
Measurements are taken with millimetre-level accuracy to ensure that the windows fit the existing openings correctly.
02. Made-to-Measure Manufacturing
Once the measurements have been confirmed, your windows are manufactured according to the project specifications.
The usual manufacturing lead time is approximately 3 to 4 weeks, depending on the selected product, finishes and specifications.
Before scheduling the installation, we confirm the expected installation date with you.
03. Preparing Your Home
To make the installation as smooth and safe as possible, we recommend preparing the work area before our team arrives.
We recommend that you:
- Remove curtains, interior blinds and objects close to the windows.
- Clear the area in front of each window.
- Remove fragile or valuable items from the work area.
- Ensure clear access to the windows and working areas.
- Inform us in advance about any special conditions or access requirements.
Our team will protect the working areas and take care throughout the installation.
04. Installation Day
On the agreed date, our team arrives at your property and checks the working conditions before starting.
When removing existing windows, we work carefully to minimise potential damage to surrounding finishes and surfaces.
Existing frames are cut and removed in a controlled manner, avoiding unnecessary stress on the surrounding walls.
We then:
- Remove the existing windows.
- Prepare and inspect the openings.
- Install the new frames.
- Check alignment and level.
- Install the sashes and hardware.
- Complete the required sealing.
- Adjust the opening and closing mechanisms.
- Carry out a final operational check.
Installation waste and removed materials are cleared on the same day.
05. Finishing & Final Inspection
Before completing the installation, we inspect each window to ensure that everything is operating correctly.
We check:
- Opening and closing
- Sash alignment
- Hardware and handles
- Sealing
- Shutters and accessories, where applicable
- Visible finishes
We also explain the correct operation of your new windows and, where available, the micro-ventilation position.
06. Handover
Once the installation is complete, we carry out a final inspection with you.
You receive the relevant documentation and applicable warranty information for the product and installation.
How long does installation take?
The installation time depends on the number of windows, the selected products and the characteristics of the property.
For a typical residential project, installation can generally be completed within 1 to 3 days once the windows have been manufactured. The exact schedule is confirmed following the technical survey.
