Eurostand 240 Passive is the version Saxun developed for Passivhaus projects. It keeps the 240 mm section and 250 mm B dimension of the standard 240, with D reduced to 190 mm to make room for the E240 Passive insulation and the insulating membrane. Tested as a box with motor, it returns 0.62 W/m²K, 45 (-2;-5) dB, Class 4 air permeability and Class E3000 watertightness.

Why specify the 240 Passive

Specify the Passive build where the project is certified or working to Passivhaus criteria, or where the shutter box would otherwise be the weak point in an otherwise airtight envelope. It gives the lowest transmittance and the highest acoustic rating Saxun publishes.
